Each morning, our in-house bakery creates an ever-changing menu of pastry favorites, ranging from cinnamon rolls and muffins to bacon-cheddar scones, fruit-filled danishes, and gluten-free goodies. There are also a variety of salads, sandwiches, and wraps — perfect for on-the-go meals.

The Story Behind the Name

In August 1859, two surveyors — M.S. Beach and Rufus Cable — started out from Denver to begin a townsite called Colorado City. While exploring locations by horse, they came upon a beautiful area of sandstone rock formations. Beach suggested that it would be “a capital place for a beer garden.” However, Cable exclaimed, “Beer garden! Why it is a fit place for the gods to assemble. We will call it the Garden of the Gods.”
